A Little Seasonal Care, Our Newest Practitioner, Honoring Our Veterans,
Mary’s Updated Hours, and A Few Exciting New Things Happening at Lifestream!
Your November Wellness Note from LifeStream
There is something about November that encourages us to shift our perspective. The vibrant energy of autumn begins to settle, nature prepares for winter, and we're reminded that life moves in rhythms—not everything needs to happen at the same pace.
Yet while nature seems to know when to slow down, we humans are not always quite as good at taking the hint! Between work, family, and the approaching holiday season, it's easy to move through our days on autopilot.
What if, instead of waiting for life to become less busy, we became more intentional about creating moments that nourish us along the way?
At LifeStream Wellness, we believe caring for yourself isn't something you need to earn. It's an essential part of living a healthy, vibrant, and fulfilling life.
Seasonal Wisdom:
Nourish Your Energy
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the transition toward winter invites us to focus on nourishment, restoration, and living in harmony with the changing seasons.
A few simple ways to support yourself this November:
Warm things up. Enjoy nourishing soups, roasted vegetables, and warming teas.
Honor your sleep. Create an evening routine that encourages restorative rest.
Keep moving. Walking, strength training, yoga, and stretching help support circulation and vitality.
Make space for calm. Even a few intentional minutes can help you reset during a busy day.
LifeStream Wisdom: Wellness isn't about doing everything perfectly. It's about understanding what your body needs and responding with care.
Honoring Our Veterans
This Veterans Day, we are especially proud to recognize Mary Nolan, Licensed Acupuncturist and U.S. Army Combat Veteran.
A West Point graduate and former Army Preventive Medicine Officer, Mary brings firsthand military experience and a unique understanding of the needs of fellow Veterans.
Through the VA Community Care Network, LifeStream provides acupuncture to eligible Veterans for concerns such as chronic pain, headaches, stress, and sleep difficulties.
If you or someone you know is a Veteran interested in acupuncture, we would be happy to help explain the VA referral process.
To all who have served, thank you. We are grateful for your service and sacrifice.

Your November LifeStream Wellness Moment
As the holiday season approaches, here's a gentle invitation:
Instead of asking, "What else do I need to get done?" try asking, "What do I need today?"
Maybe it's movement, connection, rest, nourishment, or simply a few quiet moments.
There isn't one right answer. The practice is learning to listen.
Taking care of yourself isn't a distraction from living your life. It's part of creating a life you feel well enough to enjoy.
With gratitude,
The LifeStream Wellness Team
Cultivating health, balance, and lifelong vitality.
